Enables you to create unlimited number of percent-based shipping methods.
You can create a separate method for each type of shipping, for example 'Express Mail' with price 7% of order total, 'Special Luxurious Delivery' with price 30% of order total, etc. For each of the methods you can have unique names, percent rate, minimal or maximal prices, all other parameters. Each method is absolutely independent.Minimal and maximal shipping prices.
For each of the methods you can define individual minimal and maximal prices. Let's say 15 euros minimum and 100 euros maximum for 'Ground Mail', 50 euros minimum and 400 euros maximum for 'Air Mail'.Clear Presentation.
Percent-based methods are displayed in a separate block on 'Shipping Method' step of checkout. You can write your own title for the block. Each method is displayed in a separate line, so customers won't get confused.Adjust shipping rates for certain orders and products.
Individual percent rates for particular categories.
You can set special percentage for some categories within each method, including free shipping. E.g. you can indicate 10% instead of 5% for 'Big Stuff' category due to specific delivery conditions. Or 0% (zero) for a category with very expensive items. In addition to percent rate you can specify base flat fee for categories, which is added to percent rate. E.g. you set 5% rate and base fee of 10 for category 'Phones'. If there are three phones in the cart, shipping rate will be calculated as 5% of the phones' price + 30 (10 for each phone).Individual percent rates for certain products.
The extension enables you to do the same with certain products. You can specify 15% rate instead of 5% for an elephant, because it is very tricky to deliver. You can specify 3% instead of 5% for a hamster, because it's much easier to deliver. Like with categories, you can specify base flat fee for products, which is added to the percent-based price.Ability to set flat rate for orders with subtotal less than specified value.

I have just tried installing this extension now, it didn't work for me and I am awaiting tech support to see if they can fix the install, i immediately got a "Exception printing is disabled by default for security reasons." Hopefully there is a solution as i really think this extension could be a serious hit.. Since there is no way to automatically ship by price rather than quantity and weight.Overall extension rating

The extension works great for big stores with lots orders. It counts percents automatically. All you need to do is specify minimum and maximum for shipping. We also got Shipping per Product by this developer. It's perfect when it comes to specifying shipping rates not for each product individually. Great!Overall extension rating
