How to add finder to the home page?

To add a Finder to the Home Page and be able to filter products, please take the following steps:

  1. Create a Product Finder which you would like to use on the Home Page or choose the existing one and copy the Finder Code.
  2. Create or select the existing CMS Block and insert the copied Finder Code in the Content field.
  3. Also in CMS->Pages->Home Page insert the Finder Code in the Content field.
  4. In Catalog->Manage Categories select the root category. Then in the Display Settings tab select the CMS Block you worked with on step 2 (CMS Block field). Set the ‘Is Anchor’ option to ‘Yes’
