Fresh Updates to Amasty Extensions – August 2024

In August, the Amasty team brought a variety of updates and upgrades to our extensions, enhancing existing features and adding fresh functionality. These changes are all about creating a better, smoother experience for our users. Explore the details below to learn more about what’s been improved!

Abandoned Cart Email

• We added the ability to delete records from the History grid via mass action.
• We resolved the issue with sending abandoned cart emails.
• Image placeholders are now shown correctly in emails.
• Custom options for child products are now shown correctly in abandoned cart emails.
• We fixed the error in logs during Debug mode.
• We resolved the coupon expiration dates issue.

B2B Company Account

• Administrators can now build a Company Hierarchy by assigning related companies to a designated parent company. (Temporarily unavailable on Hyvä Theme).

Custom Reports Builder

• We updated the Stock Threshold calculation formula.
• We resolved an error with creating order item reports including product and customer attributes.

Facebook Pixel

• We resolved the error during pixel ID creation and deletion.
• We resolved the error messages not showing on the storefront when adding a product to a cart with excess quantity.

Free Gift

• Extension now fully complies with WCAG 2.1 level AA requirements for the Luma Theme.
• We resolved the 'Unable to save new bannerRule' error after migration to Magento Enterprise.
• We resolved the SQL error due to different row_id and rule_id values.
• We improved discount calculation when a free gift is applied.
• We fixed discount calculation for Fixed Amount Discount rules.
• We resolved the issue with the discount application for configurable products with free gifts.

Gift Card Pro

• We improved the display of store view options in the 'Send from the Following Store View' setting.
• The store view from which the order was placed is now automatically populated.
• All necessary data is now displayed in customer emails when 'Assign Gift Card to Customer Account' is enabled.
• We fixed the functionality of the Gift Card schedule delivery date picker.
• The issue with Gift Cards applying on Klarna Checkout was resolved.
• Gift Card Enterprise and Cloud versions are now compatible with Live Search in Pro and Premium.

Import and Export Premium

• We added the 'Attribute Set Name to Set ID' modifier to allow importing an attribute set by its name.
• We added new export events, enabling the export of customer data after customers log in/log out.
• We added the 'Skip Existing Products' setting for import profiles.
• We added the 'Product SKU to Product ID' modifier when using SKUs in subentities.
• We improved error messages to indicate duplicated identifier values.
• We enhanced the indexing process to update salable quantity after import.
• We resolved the multi-node Magento Cloud environment error.
• We resolved the Google Drive key upload in export profiles.
• We resolved issues with importing multi-page Google Sheet files.
• We resolved the JSON import from the FTP server issue.

Product Attachments

• We added the 'Customer Groups' column to the Product Management grid.
• We increased the size of the 'Customer Groups' database column for attachments with many customer groups.
• We fixed the error when adding a product attachment via API.

• We added a pre-created template for Facebook.
• The 'Force Unlock' action can now be initiated via the console.
• We added new 'Prepend (if not empty)' and 'Append (if not empty)' modifiers.
