August brought another round of improvements across our Magento 2 extensions. This month, we focused on WCAG 2.2 accessibility, Hyvä Checkout compatibility, and performance refinements to help stores deliver faster and more reliable experiences.

Made WCAG 2.2-Compatible

Made Hyvä Theme / Hyvä Checkout CSP Compatible

Admin Actions Log
We added the ability to exclude action flags from logs. Available via amasty/module-admin-actions-log-exclude-logging (requires active subscription).
Old stock values are now recorded correctly when updated via API.
We corrected logging of excluded entities.
We fixed “Column not found” error when reverting SKU changes.
AJAX Shopping Cart (Hyvä Compatibility)
We reduced server requests when adding products to cart.
We ensured correct product is added with “Add to Compare”.
We improved support for product quantity increments.
Blog Pro
Blog widgets now support Hyvä CMS. You can find the amasty/module-blog-pro-hyva-cms package in composer suggest (requires active subscription).
We added option to hide the blog post title inside post content. Available via amasty/module-blog-pro-subscription-functionality (requires active subscription).
We improved AWS S3 remote storage compatibility for blog post images.
We enhanced WCAG compliance of the “Read More” button.
We disabled categories are no longer shown in search results for store views where they’re turned off.
We resolved JavaScript error “angular is not defined” on the configuration page when Magento JS files were minified.
Customer Attributes
WCAG 2.2 Level AA compliance on the Luma theme.
Faster loading of the “Account Information” page with customer attributes.
Correct saving of empty attribute values.
Fixed checkout error with date-type attribute missing default value.
Customer Group Catalog
We added alt text for price replacement images.
We fixed “Declarative Schema is not up to date” error during DB status check.
Extra Fee
We resolved fee duplication in the order totals
We fixed the missing fee in the order totals with Klarna payment.
We corrected the extra fee calculation for fixed-price bundle products.
We reduced API requests on the cart and checkout pages.
We fixed the error when placing orders with PayPal Braintree
Follow Up Email
We added Magento 2.4.8 support.
We prevented duplicated emails in the queue after cron errors.
We resolved “Invalid entity_type specified” error during setup:upgrade.
We fixed sender info mismatch when sending from multiple store views.
We ensured emails for non-logged-in customers are properly canceled with “Customer logged in” event.
We added UTM parameters to links in follow-up emails (requires regenerating templates).
Gift Wrap
We added Magento 2.4.8 support.
We corrected API response for wraps and wrap cards data.
Google Analytics 4 with GTM Support
We corrected the value parameter for the “View Cart” event when updating cart quantities.
We enhanced Cookie Consent compatibility: GTM tag now fires after cookie acceptance when Consent Mode is disabled.
We updated the codebase to support PHP 8.1 and higher (backward incompatible).
We added remove_from_cart and add_to_cart triggers for mini-cart and cart page quantity changes.
We restored the Login as Customer functionality with enabled analytics.
We improved Cookie Consent compatibility to ensure gtm.js loads right after consent when Consent Mode is disabled.
One Step Checkout Pro
We added Google Place Autocomplete Data API support.
We added Netresearch Shipping UI support, resolving infinite loop.
We added Revolut payment method via amasty/module-checkout-revolut (requires active subscription).
We resolved “Cannot read properties of undefined” error when total became zero.
We fixed Braintree token caching issue.
Out of Stock Notification
We fixed the errors that occurred when running the ‘php bin/magento setup:di:compile’ command and during the execution of the ‘amasty_xnotif_restock_status_updater’ cron job with Magento Inventory modules disabled.
Product Option Templates
Dependent options can now be set as required. Available via amasty/module-prot-required-option (requires active subscription).
We corrected the filtering of bundle products in the option templates.
We resolved the error “Please assign at least one product to the template” when deleting products.
We fixed the saving of copied template options.
RMA
We added support for Magento 2.4.8 and PHP 8.4.
We added WCAG 2.2 Level AA compliance on the Luma theme.
We fixed the My Returns page error with unset status color.
We corrected attachment re-upload handling.
We fixed quick reply options showing response text instead of labels.
We improved compatibility with the Amasty Order Number module for Manage Requests filtering.
XML Google® Sitemap
We corrected the homepage URL in multi-store setups.
We disabled categories that are no longer shown in hreflangs.
We corrected the “Sitemap” translation in robots.txt
We updated the maximum sitemap priority to 1.
