As we step into the new month, Amasty is excited to share the latest updates and improvements we've been working on throughout October. Our team has been busy making our Magento extensions even better, so your e-commerce experience is top-notch.
Let’s take a look at a bunch of improvements and cool new features that we've put together in the past month.
New Features and Improvements in Our Magento 2 Extensions
Abandoned Cart Email
- It’s now possible to customize Abandoned Cart coupons’ names (Note: the compatibility is available as a part of an active product or support subscription).
- We added the possibility to set up Abandoned Cart coupons’ expiry date format (Note: the compatibility is available as a part of an active product subscription or support subscription).
- We fixed the Discount and Total wrong calculation issue in the emails.
- We made sure the ‘Revenue’ report calculation worked properly.
Google Invisible reCaptcha
- We fixed the compatibility with Amasty Custom Forms. Now forms with the Invisible Captcha are being submitted as intended.
- The issue with the Invisible Captcha label's incorrect display was resolved.
- We solved the problem with the inconsistent loader displaying when switching between pages.
- We solved the problem with placing an order once the ‘I am not a robot’ checkbox was clicked.
- We fixed the error that appeared when a user submitted a form with Captcha version 2.
- We corrected a Captcha duplication issue.
- The Invisible Captcha version 2 displaying problem was resolved.
- We fixed the compatibility with Amasty Advanced Product Reviews. Now, reviews are being displayed without errors.
Affiliate
- We corrected the discounts displayed in the Transactions Grid.
- We fixed the issue when Promo Widget products are being displayed without Taxes included
- We fixed the problem with the order switching to the ‘Complete’ status when one of the products was refunded.
- We resolved minor UI and text issues.
- Affiliates now do not receive a discount from their referral links.
- We solved the Infinite loop problem that occurred when there was a product in the cart whose price had changed.
- We fixed the Traffic Sources Count issue.
- We eliminated the incorrect affiliate commission being applied when placing an order via the admin panel.
- The affiliate’s commission is now being reduced proportionally if there is an adjustment refund.
- We fixed the incorrect Affiliate Program account status in the emails.
- We resolved the problem with charging affiliate commissions for orders with zero subtotal.
- Now buttons for managing Cart Price Rules are displayed on the Affiliate Program management page as intended.
Gift Wrap
- Now the extension is compatible with Magento 2.4.6.
- We’ve added Add Gift Wrapping Options to the Email setting so that customer emails can contain more detailed information about gift wrap.
- We switched the extension to the declarative schema.
- We improved the translation of the extension’s components.
- We improved the compatibility with several Amasty extensions: Free Gift, Gift Card, Automatic Related Products, Jet Theme, and AJAX Shopping Cart.
- We fixed the issue where the gift wrap price replaced the subtotal in transaction emails.
- We resolved the behavior with an incorrect number of products displaying for gift wrap in the backend.
- We fixed the display of the Add Gift Wrap button when the button is only enabled for the shopping cart page.
- We improved the behavior of the Hidden prices on the recipient’s receipt checkbox in the cart.
Free Gift
- We’ve added the possibility to output Free Gifts via Banner for Pro module version (Note: the functionality is available as a part of an active product subscription or support subscription. Temporarily not available on Hyvä Theme).
- We significantly optimized the ‘Free Gift’ popup’s loading speed.
- We solved the problem with an Order Total amount recalculating when the Checkout page is being refreshed.
- The issue with the available number of Free Gift items was resolved.
- We eliminated the error that occurred when creating an order via the admin panel.
- We fixed the MSI compatibility. Now Free Gifts are displayed in the popup as intended.
Extended Product Grid with Editor
- It is now possible to edit the Attribute Set column from the Products grid (Note: The compatibility is available as part of an active product or support subscription).
- We improved the Category filter by adding a search field to it (Note: The compatibility is available as part of an active product or support subscription).
- We added the possibility to crop decimal digits in the Products grid (Note: The compatibility is available as part of an active product or support subscription).
- You can now filter products by Quantity per Source and Salable Quantity (Note: The compatibility is available as part of an active product or support subscription).
- We fixed the ‘Products grid’ data export issues.
- We resolved an undefined array key ‘Visibility’ issue.
Google Page Speed Optimizer
- We’ve added AVIF image optimization support which is provided as a part of smart optimization for the Pro and Premium versions (Note: the compatibility is available as a part of an active product subscription or support subscription). Now it’s compatible with PHP version 8.1 and higher.
- We fixed the compatibility with the Amasty Mega Menu. Now Mega Menu icon images are converted to WebP as intended.
- We fixed the issue with the main product image converting to WebP format when the ‘Catalog media URL format’ is set as ‘Image optimization based on query parameters’.
Multiple Wishlist
- We’ve added the possibility to handle most actions on wishlists via REST API. Now the extension is compatible with Magento 2.4.4 and higher.
- We fixed the compatibility of the Add to Wishlist functionality with the Recently Viewed widget.
- GraphQL module is now available for installation via Composer.
- We refactored some waits and messages for asserting.
Most Viewed or Automatic Related Products
- We fixed the success message displaying issue when Bundle packs are being added to the cart.
- We refactored the code styles to enhance the extension’s performance.
Promo Banners
- We added the compatibility with Hyvä Theme for Promo Banners. You can find the ‘amasty/module-promo-banners-hyva-compatibility’ package for installation in composer suggest (Note: the compatibility is available as part of an active product subscription or support subscription).
Extended Order Grid
- We’ve added Quantity per Source and Salable Quantity columns to the order grid.
- We resolved the error that occurred while exporting orders with the date filter applied.
- We fixed the issue with the prices for configurable products not displaying on the grid.
Shipping Rules
- We’ve added new Shipping Rules conditions based on Subtotal, which includes taxes.
- We improved the module performance by optimizing and speeding up the load speed of shipping rules.
- We fixed the issue in applying the same shipping rules to multiple shipments.
Customer Attributes
- We resolved the problem with customer attributes not appearing in the customer account.
Duplicate Categories
- We fixed the issue with data duplication when using default values.
GeoIP Data
- We fixed the incorrect database import by removing duplicated data and speeding up the import process. Now, location detection by IP works as intended.
Request a Quote
- We corrected the composer file suggest section.
Reindex from Admin
- The extension now uses the PHP executable path indicated by the Amasty Base module.
Advanced Search
- We solved the issue with overlap when displaying the header and search fields together.
