How to implement Google Search Console into Magento 2?

How to integrate Google Search Console into Magento 2?

Step 1. Visit the Google Search Console page and click the Start Now button.

Step 2. Type the URL prefix of your site in the URL Prefix section and click the Continue button.

Step 3. There are 5 ways to verify your property:

  • Using your Google Analytics account
  • By uploading an HTML file to your site
  • By linking your DNS record with Google
  • By adding a meta tag to the homepage of your site
  • Using your Google Tag Manager account

The easiest way to do this without any technical knowledge is to add a meta tag to the homepage of your website.

Step 4. Select the Add a meta tag to your site’s home page option and you will be shown a pop-up window.

Step 5. Copy the shown meta tag, paste it into the head section of your Magento 2 store homepage and click Verify.

Step 6. After clicking, you will be shown a pop-up window notifying you about Magento store integration with Google Search Console.
