Magento 2 admin logout time is the time when the admin is automatically logged out of Magento 2 if their connection has not been used for a certain amount of time. By default, this time is 900 seconds or 15 minutes, but it can be changed if necessary in the Magento settings. The way to do it will be described below.
To change the time to the lower or higher values do the following: log in to your store with the administrator account. Go to Stores > Configuration. Scroll down to the Advanced settings and select Admin. Then under the Security section, you will see a field named Admin Session Lifetime (seconds). Change the default value to the needed session length and click Save Config.
Improve the security of your store data by tracking who logged into the admin panel, see which attempts failed, check who and when made changes in a specific order, product, or category, track what the admin is currently working on, and troubleshoot problems caused by the admin with the help of the Admin Actions Log extension.
