Will you launch an annual or monthly product subscription?

On Feb 1, 2022 we launched annual subscriptions only, meaning that the billing period for the subscription will be 1 calendar year.

 

Will the product subscription affect both CE and EE?

Yes, the product subscription will be launched for both the Community (Open-Source) Edition and Enterprise (Commerce) Edition of Amasty extensions.

 

I have several extensions purchased before February 1, 2022 and an active support subscription. Will I have to re-purchase the extensions to receive the updates?

Not at all. You don’t need to re-purchase the extensions - you will get both support and all updates for those extensions for as long as you keep the support subscription active. 

 

And if I have the support subscription but cancel it after February 1, 2022? 

If you cancel the subscription acquired before February 1, 2022 but want to receive the updates and support for extensions purchased before February 1, 2022, you can subscribe to one of the support plans, which are applied per account. Please note that all extensions purchased before February 1, 2022 will be covered with maintenance, including Magento compatibility setup and bugfixes.

 

I have a number of extensions purchased before February 1, 2022 but don’t have a support subscription. Will I not receive any updates? 

All extensions purchased before February 1, 2022 are automatically covered with maintenance, including Magento compatibility updates and bugfixes. However, if you need support services for these extensions and/or access to new features, now you can subscribe to one of the support plans, which applies per account.

 

What will happen if I don’t have a support subscription but need support after February 1, 2022?

I have extensions purchased before February 1, 2022 and want to purchase more. How will that work for me if I want to have access to the updates? 

If you have an active support subscription, it will cover the updates for all the extensions you purchased before February 1, 2022. For all extensions you purchase after February 1, 2022, updates will came as part of the product subscription along with the support. 

 

I cancelled my support subscription. Can I re-activate it? 

Unfortunately, you cannot reactivate the support subscription Lite after February 1, 2022. If you need support services and/or access to new features for extensions purchased before February 1, 2022, now you can subscribe to one of the support plans, which apply per account. Please note that all extensions purchased before February 1, 2022 are automatically covered with maintenance, including Magento compatibility updates and bugfixes.

 

Can I cancel my product subscription?

Yes, you can cancel it at any time. In this case, you will keep access to the support service for the product and updates until the subscription end date.

 

Can I renew my product subscription?

If you cancelled the subscription and want to renew it, you can do it from your Customer Account. Please note that an additional renewal fee will apply (20% of the actual product price).

 

Can I continue using the extension if I don’t have a support or product subscription? 

Yes, you may continue using the original code base for as long as you like. 

 

You sell Support Subscription Pro, Premium, Amasty One. Do they grant access to the updates for extensions purchased before February 1, 2022?

Support Subscriptions Pro, Premium, and Amasty One are add-ons to the standard support that comes as a part of any product subscription. If you have one or more product subscriptions in your account, you may purchase Pro, Premium, Amasty One support additionally to get the extra services they offer for your entire account.
