Guide for Recently Viewed Products Popup for Magento 2

General Settings

To configure the extension please go to Stores → Configuration → Amasty Extensions → Recently Viewed Popup and expand the General section.

Enable Recently Viewed Products Popup - select 'Yes' to enable the extension.

Show Recently Viewed Products Popup on - use this setting to choose for which views the recently viewed products popup should appear. You can opt for mobile, desktop, tablet or enable it for all views.

Number of Products Displayed in Popup - specify the suitable for your store max number of products displayed in a recently viewed products popup.

For example, if you set the value to 5 in this setting, the popup on the frontend will always display 5 products. If a customer has viewed more than 5 products, they can load the rest by clicking the 'View More' button.

Product Viewing Tracking Period - specify the time period in minutes that will determine the duration for collecting and storing information about recently viewed products by customers to display in the popup.

For example, if you set the value to 10 minutes, the popup will display products viewed by the customer within the last 10 minutes of their session. Any products viewed earlier than that will automatically be removed from the popup in real-time.
